Seymour split two Bay Conference contests and had a wild nonconference win over Ashwaubenon in the week’s varsity baseball play.
Clay Letter paced Seymour’s three-hit pitching, allowing Hortonville’s only run in just over four innings in a Bay Conference game April 15. Letter struckout five and allowed two hits.
Seymour scored all of its runs in the first inning. Troy Rottier had a double for the Thunder.
In a wild contest, Seymour racked up 20 hits and Tyler Pfefferle pitched four innings in relief to pick up the win in a nonconference game April 19 at Ashwaubenon.
Seymour took a 4-0 lead in the first inning, gave up six runs to Ashwaubenon in the bottom of the frame, then scored two more to tie the game at 6-6 after two.
Joey Berg went 4-for-5 and Dylan VanBoxtel had three hits for Seymour.
Tony Shimek had three hits and Brad Veara drove in three runs for the Jaguars.

Seymour managed only five hits against Shawano’s Ben Bystol in a Bay game at Shawano April 20. Seymour is 1-3 in the Bay, 4-4 overall.
