SCHS grads open new business in Seymour

Larry Gill and Steven Heiting were walking down the street when they were sophomores at Seymour Community High School. They decided then that they wanted to open a computer company. A little over three months after graduation, Gill and Heiting opened Sys-Tech, a computer repair and installation business at 205 N. Main St. in Seymour.
The young entreprenures offer software, systems work and will recycle electronic items.
Gill serves as the primary technician, while Heiting helps with some computer work and handles the business side of the operation.
Kelly Hanson works with graphic design, while Nik Gray and James Mickey help out occasionally with technical work.
“I’ve been working with computers since I was seven,” Gill said. He added that at seven he was good at taking them apart, but soon learned how to build them as well.
Sys-Tech is open from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Thursday; until 5 p.m. on Friday, 10-5 on Saturday and noon-4 p.m. on Sunday. For more information call 920-660-9302.
