After their recent trip to Disney’s Spring Training in Florida, the Shiocton softball team had monies left over from their fundraising so they gave back to the community.
The team donated $500 to the new batting cages at school and $100 to post prom.
Eight-hundred dollars was also donated towards a new 25’ flag pole at the Shiocton Lake Park ball diamond, where the team holds its games.
The National Mutual Benefit Shiocton Branch 882 presented the team with a 5×8-foot flag to hang from their new pole.
