Cook shines at Summer football camps and games

Seymour school student Benjamin Cook, Class of 2022, has had a very busy summer of Baseball and Football. His summer started out with the 13U Seymour Baseball Team where Benjamin is the Starting Center Fielder. They play in the very competitive Fox Valley Youth Baseball League.
Then Ben started his Summer Football Tour that took him to Chicago, Virginia Beach and then on to Canton.

This path started in 2016 when Benjamin earned an invitation to the Football University – Top Gun Camp in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Once there, he displayed his talent and athleticism against defensive players from across the USA earning the coveted title of “All Top Gun” as one of the nation’s best middle school football players.
Ben’s first stop this summer was at the USA Football Regional Camp in Chicago, Illinois. His performance there earned him an invitation to the USA Football Development Games this July in Canton, Ohio.
Next was over 1,100 miles away in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Home of the Diamond Sports Spring All American Bowl. Benjamin earned a starting Wide Receiver Position along with starting on all Special Teams and backup Safety. At the event, Benjamin earned the Team Leadership Award for the Championship winning team.
Coming up, Ben Cook has earned an invitation to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Academy – Elite Division in Canton, Ohio. Ben is one of twelve class of 2022 players from around the country selected to participate at the receiver position.

The Cook Family appreciates any donations to help cover the expenses of Tuition and Hotel costs. There have been a few invitations that were turned down because of budget restraints. Including; USA Football Development Games, Best of the Midwest Camp. Football University Camp and Midwest GridIron Academy.
