Third grade art students have been studying the works of artist Georgia O’Keeffe.
O’Keeffe is best known for her drawings of distinct flowers as well as dramatic city views and landscapes.
The third grade students created quilt squares of vibrant poppy flowers, the poppy quilt will be made by Jeannie Reese and raffled off in March at the Art Show. Paint and fabric squares were donated by S.P.I.C.E.
What the quilt will look like is pictured at left.
