The Lady Thunder would get off to a slow start but slowly start to pull away in their 68-48 non-conference road victory over Pulaski on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Seymour, ranked No. 3 in the WisSports.net Division 2 coaches poll, would take a 17-point haftime lead over No. 10 ranked Pulaski.
“We started off cold but started hitting some shots after the first handful of possessions then went into halftime up 17,” said Lady Thunder head coach Bobby Kuchta.
Seymour came out of the half with a poor shooting display and only scored two points in the first seven minutes.
The Lady Red Raiders would goon a 16-2 run and cut the lead to 43-40. They would get no closer as Seymour kept their composure and made their run and stayed calm and confident.
“We just continued to play our game which is fast pace up tempo and shots started to fall for us,” Kuchta said.
Seymour had four kids score in double figures led by Hailey Oskey’s 20 points. Jenna Krause and Aubrey Buchholtz both added 16 while Raven VandenLangenberg chipped in 10.
