Fairest of the Fair

Would you like to build your resume and gain local and state recognition? Do you enjoy meeting and working with people from all age groups? Would you like an opportunity to represent the state of Wisconsin as the State Fairest of the Fair? If so, then this is your first step to an exciting and rewarding experience as the fourth Outagamie County Fairest of the Fair!
The purpose of the Fairest of the Fair program is to promote the enormous variety of opportunities – educational, agricultural, social, cultural and commercial – available at the Outagamie County Fair. If you are selected as Outagamie County Fair Fairest of the Fair, you are the official ambassador of the Fair and will represent the Outagamie County Fair at the Wisconsin Association of Fairs convention for an opportunity to become the 2019 Wisconsin State Fairest of the Fair.
The Outagamie County Fairest of the Fair Interview Banquet will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. The Fairest of the Fair will be announced at the banquet and the official crowning of the Outagamie County.
Fairest of the Fair will be held on June 10, 2018, at the Outagamie County Breakfast on the Farm at Van Handel Dairy Farm.
Contestants will compete on a variety of skills sets with the winner receiving a $1,500.00 Educational Scholarship. Contestants must be at least 18 years of age by June 1, 2018 and can be male or female. The contestant must reside in Outagamie County or be a member of a 4H club or FFA organization only in Outagamie County.
The application form is available on the Outagamie County Fairest of the Fair Facebook page, the Outagamie County Dairy Promotion website under Fairest of the Fair tab or the Outagamie County Fair website under the Fairest of the Fair tab. It will have the requirements and duties for the 2018-2019 Outagamie County Fair Fairest of the Fair Competition. Contestant applications must be postmarked by May 25, 2018 and can be mailed to Family Insurance Center, Attn: Chelsey Thiel, N4006 County Road E Ste 2B, Freedom, WI 54913.
The Outagamie County Fair gives youth the opportunity to showcase their talents through the projects they exhibit. Why not take this opportunity to share your experiences with others and encourage them to become participants of the fair as well.
