Musical Kick-off to St. Patrick’s Day Week

NEW LONDON—A concert featuring Celtic music performed by local artists will be held at Mosquito Hill Nature Center, New London, on Saturday, March 10. The concert is sponsored by Green Apple Folk Music Society.
“You won’t want to miss this afternoon of music from the Old Sod, said Green Apple Board member Barbara Hoffman. You’ll hear a wide variety of Celtic styles, including some sing-alongs. This is a family-friendly event; all children all welcome.”
Performers include Mike O’Connell and Flip of the Coin, Paul Srubas, Steve Peterson with Dan & Dean, Terry Dawson, Jim Anger, and Melisa Mulroy.
The music begins at 2:00 p.m. The cost is $5/person or $2 for Green Apple members.
