High School Forensics medals at State

The Board met on Monday, April 23 at 6 p.m. in the LMC.
Elected board members Stacey Warning and Mike Bellin were given their Oath of Office.
The reorganization of the board was addressed:
Brad Ritchie was nominated and elected as Board President; Jeremie Birch was nominated and elected as Vice President; Mike Bellin was nominated and elected as Treasurer; David Gomm was nominated and elected as Clerk; Selection of Official newspaper is Advertiser Community News changing to Times Press on May 10; Selection of Cesa no. 6 Delegate is David Gomm; Selection of WASB Delegate is David Gomm; Selection of WASB Delegate Alternate is Brad Ritchie; Selection of District Depository is Wolf River Community Bank Shiocton and BMO Harris; Selection of Legal Services Providers is Bob Sorenson, Attorney and Menn Law.
Mrs. Funk introduced the High School Forensics students that went to State. Three of them gave their presentations to the board, they were quite entertaining. Tabitha Morris received a Gold Medal, Megan Pigsley and Mikayla Henry received Silver Medals at State and Mikayla Denis and Selina Enders received Bronze.
In reports, High School Principal Kelly Zeinert recognized Romy’s for hosting prom free of charge on April 28 for the students since it was canceled due to Blizzard Evelyn on April 14.
Teacher appreciation week is the first week in May.
In new business, the board took action and approved the addition of .5Math/ELA middle school teacher.
The board set the June and July board meeting dates. June 4 and 18 and July 16.
The next meeting is scheduled for May 7, at 6 p.m. in the LMC.
