Shiocton school volunteers for Habitat for Humanity

During Shiocton’s spring break a crew of volunteers from throughout the Shiocton School District volunteered their time to provide a meal for the hard working crew at the local Habitat for Humanity build. “This home will be benefiting a family in our community so we felt like we needed to find a way to help out,” said Robin Schmidt
Staff, as well as a school board member, volunteered to coordinate a delicious warm meal for the crew on Friday, March 30. They served them a meal that made them come back for more. They were just as appreciative for all of their work as they were for our warm meal.
The warm meal was financially supported with funds from Modern Woodmen of America, an insurance company that supports community outreach.
