Memorial Day in Seymour

The theme of Memorial Day is usually one of rememberance.
A day to stop and reflect on the men and women who gave their lives for the country.
That was certainly the focus of Sunday’s speech in Seymour.
The downpour of rain and gloomy skies cleared up minutes before the parade and people gladly risked the rain again to line Main Street for the parade.
At the program afterwards Seymour’s high school band and choir performed a selection of patriotic melodies.
