The final race of the 2018 season at Outagamie Speedway will be Sept. 22.
The last event will be the Fall Brawl on Sept. 22, according to John Tiener, secretary of Eastern Wisconsin Stock Car Inc. (EWSC). EWSC is the club that has been promoting the Outagamie Speedway in Seymour since 2017.
“EWSC Racing is promoting this event as a celebration of the season and rewarding the drivers with higher payouts and a more releaxed atmosphere around the event,” Tiener said. “The Outagamie Speedway powered by EWSC Racing Fall Brawl is featuring seven divisions of racing, Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Modifieds, IMCA Compacts, Street Stocks and Grand Nationals. This is a non-points race, just a chance for drivers to get out and enjoy racing.”
Tiener said the Fall Brawl wouldn’t be possible without the help of sponsors.
“Thank you to Wayne Roffers Trucking, C. Roffers Trucking, Nelson Sand and Gravel, Jackson Pointe Citgo and Klink Equipment, just a few of the companies that have come aboard to make this show even better for drivers,” Tiener said.
Throughout the season, the Outagamie Speedway has had a variety of cars racing on the track.
“The track is wide and fast and has hosted all of the above divisions, along with Sprint Cars in 2018,” Teiner said. “We also have the only two seat Sprint Car in the region, that we utilize as a promotional tool, giving sponsors as well as fans rides in the Professional Platting Inc. Outagamie Speedway two seat Sprint Car.”
On Sept. 22 the pit gates will open at 1:30 p.m. and the grandstand gates will open at 3:30 p.m. Racing is set to begin at 5 p.m. General admission for this event is $18 for people age 16 and older; $12 for children 11-15 years-old and seniors 60 years-old and older; and children 10 and under are free. Pit admission is $25. Rain date is Oct. 6.
