Shiocton School District new multi-purpose facility ribbon cutting

Shiocton School District will be celebrating the completion of their new 10,000 square foot multi-purpose facility by holding a ribbon cutting ceremony open to the public on Nov. 1.
The new building will serve many purposes for both students and the community. One half of the building is a gymnasium, and the other a work-out area complete with fitness and weight training equipment. The two halves of the building are adjoined by a wall of windows for complete visibility and an overhead door for fluid access between the two learning spaces. The building was designed to serve a variety of academic, athletic and community needs.
The increased space and increased number of machines will greatly benefit physical education classes, sports teams and organizations, and also serve as a local fitness center and weight room for both the community and students. The fitness center will come equipped with a variety of fitness machines for all levels of experience.
The project will be completed on Oct. 31 and the ribbon cutting event will take place at the Shiocton High School at N5650 Broad St., Shiocton, WI, 54170 on Nov. 1 at 9:30 a.m.
The design and construction management of the new multi-purpose facility was completed by Keller, Inc., a Design/Build/Construction Management general contractor.
