Following a big win against school rival West De Pere on Friday, Dec. 7, the Thunder boys continued their winning streak against Green Bay East.
The final score was Seymour 74 and Green Bay East 60 on Tuesday, Dec. 11. Seymour has been having a strong season in conference, and their game against Green Bay East was no exception.
The Thunder offense was working well and Seymour had high shooting percentages on Tuesday. Leading scorer of the night was Riley Murphy with 23 points. Trent Blake, who has been a consistent scorer for Seymour this year, added another 17 points to Murphy’s. Seymour came out strong and never stopped.
After the game two year starter Rhett Driessen summed up the game, “We played our hearts out. Our energy shut them down.”
Seymour looks forward to next week playing two important conference games against New London (at New London) and Shawano(at Seymour).
