Lady Thunder basketball battle at home

It was a week of home games for the Lady Thunder with the first one being against #3 Hortonville.
Seymour was able to keep pace with the Polar Bears with contributions from Morgan Seitz and Dinah King. Hortonville would be able to convert off of Seymour’s turnovers and Seymour would go into halftime down 12-42. Seymour came out in the second half looking to improve themselves and hoping to find their groove but the Polar Bears were a force that just couldn’t be reckoned with and Seymour lost this one 26-67.
Seymour was ready to bounce back on Thursday but would have to get past Green Bay East first. The Lady Thunder would start fast with contributions from Paige Weyer and Emily Palubicki. Seymour would continue finding the bottom of the net and head into halftime with a convincing 31-13 lead. Seymour would continue to extend their lead into the second half and was able to mark one in the win column 58-35.
