Customers who use Chase Bank in Seymour may have already been notified about the Seymour branch closing in June.
“We are currently notifying customers that the branch at 222 South Main Street in Seymour is being consolidated, closing June 20,” said Brian Hanover, head of US Regional Communications for JPMorgan Chase. “Chase will continue to have five branches in Green Bay, as well as one in De Pere.”
The consolidation comes after review of what locations will best serve customers.
“Like any good retailer, we constantly evaluate our branch network to ensure we’re in the right locations as our customers’ needs change,” Hanover said. “Sometimes we consolidate a branch when another is nearby or traffic is low. This allows us to provide a strong, successful branch network that can serve our community for the long-term.”
Technology has changed how customers use the bank and Chase has used new technology to serve their customers.
“Banking is no longer a one-size fits all approach,” Hanover said. “Our customers are rapidly adopting new technologies and innovations, such as mobile, online and in-branch technologies that allow them to bank how, where and when they want for everyday banking activities. Chase has the most visited online portal, with over 49 million active digital users, and is the industry’s top-ranked banking app, with over 33 million active mobile users.”
Hanover said current employees at the Seymour branch of Chase bank will be placed in other job openings in the area.
