Construction is almost complete on the Bellin Health Pharmacy inside Don’s Quality Market in Seymour.
Jon Strom, Bellin team leader over retail pharmacy, said they are planning to open the Seymour Bellin Health Pharmacy on Thursday, Aug. 8.
Strom said while they will open on Aug. 8 they are still working with some of the insurances to have the Seymour Bellin Health location added to pharmacy plans. He said patients should contact the Seymour pharmacy to make sure their insurance is currently accepted. He said when patients contact the pharmacy the pharmacy staff can get the patient set up in the system and check to see if the insurance currently covers the Seymour Bellin Health location.
“Patients can call the pharmacy and we will add patient to system and will notify the patient when their insurance is [set up with Seymour Bellin Health Pharmacy],” Strom said.
This process Strom said could take a couple of weeks so he just recommends at least for the first couple of weeks patients call to make sure their insurance is accepted.
Also, anyone wanting to transfer current prescriptions to the Seymour Bellin Health Pharmacy should contact the Seymour pharmacy and ask that the prescriptions be transferred. Strom said it is best if patients give the pharmacy a couple of days to do the transfer.
Strom said the pharmacy will be stocked with lots of medications and anything they don’t have at the Seymour pharmacy they will be able to have available the next day after requested.
Strom said Thomas Welke will be the pharmacist at the Seymour Bellin Health Pharmacy. Initially the pharmacy will be open Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Strom said once the pharmacy is up and running depending on demand and volume these hours could change to meet the needs of the patients.
Patients can contact the pharmacy by phone (920) 833-2141, website www.bellinhealthpharmacy.com, the Bellin Health Pharmacy mobile app or by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
