The Chiefs will host the winner of the May 28 game between No. 4 Marinette and No. 5 Oconto Falls on June 1. Elsewhere in the region, No. 3 Notre Dame hosts No. 6 Oconto Friday with the winner playing at No. 2 Clintonville. In softball, the Thunder has been seeded fourth in its regional and will host fifth-seed Marinette at 4:30 p.m. May 27. The winner will play at top-seed Shawano on June 1. Shawano has a first-round bye. Elsewhere in the bracket, No. 6 Clintonville opens at No. 3 West De Pere and No. 7 Oconto Falls opens at No. 2 Green Bay Notre Dame. Shiocton's baseball team will also open tournament play at home. The Chiefs, seeded third in their Division 3 regional, will host No. 6 Gillett May 28. The winner will travel to No. 2 seed Coleman on June 1. Elsewhere in the bracket, No. 4 Manawa hosts No. 5 Menominee Indian on Friday with the winner playing at top-seed Bonduel. Shiocton will open its WIAA Division 4 softball tournament play May 27 with a regional opener at Gresham. The Chiefs are seeded fifth in the six-team regional while Gresham is fourth. The winner will play at top-seeded Tigerton June 1.
